Katherine C. Burke

Katie joined the firm in 2019. Katie attended Colorado State University for her undergraduate degree, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in sociology and political science. She then attended the University of Colorado for law school. While in law school, Katie focused on gaining experience representing children. She learned the ins and outs of juvenile defense and best interest representation.

After graduation, Katie worked for the Colorado State Public Defenders Office representing indigent people accused of crimes. Katie also worked representing the best interests of children as a guardian ad litem prior to joining the firm.

Since joining the firm, Katie focuses her practice on family law, adoptions, criminal defense, juvenile defense, and victim’s representation. Katie strives to keep children first and represent her clients with compassion and strength.

Outside of practice, Katie enjoys spending time with her family and her dogs and enjoying the beautiful Colorado outdoors.
