I have a passion for construction law because I used to do quite a bit of construction myself. But I understood it and enjoyed it. I don’t want to say that there are pretty standard screw-ups that occur in construction, but there kind of is. There’s a whole series of things that contractors do when they start to get short-changed and they try to make it more profitable after they have gotten in trouble on a deal. And those things you see, those recurring things, happen over and over. In construction cases, I’ve represented both sides and I actually think it’s a good balance because we can kind of see it from the other side’s perspective, and that probably assists us in getting things resolved.
