Chelsea J. Davis 

Biography

Chelsea J. Davis joined Jorgensen, Brownell, & Pepin in 2021 as an Associate Attorney. Her practice focuses on Elder Law, Probate, Medicaid, and Estate Planning.

Chelsea began her legal career as an Assistant State Attorney in Tampa, Florida, advocating for victims and representing the State of Florida. As such, she spent several years engaging in complex criminal litigation and gaining extensive trial experience. Chelsea also represented the State of Florida in Hillsborough County’s Problem Solving Courts, including Veterans Treatment Court, Juvenile and Adult Mental Health Court, Civil Involuntary Mental Health Commitments, and the Violation of Probation Division.

Chelsea earned her Juris Doctor with a Concentration in Social Justice Advocacy from Stetson University- College of Law in Gulfport, Florida, in 2017. During law school, Chelsea received the Victor O. Wehle Award for Outstanding Trial Advocacy and the William F. Blews Pro Bono Service Award.

Before law school, Chelsea earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2010 from the University of Maryland- College Park, Honors Program. After which, she served as a case manager through Mental Health and Addiction Services in New Jersey, providing services to those diagnosed with severe and persistent mental health issues, addiction issues, and/or developmental disabilities.

In her free time, Chelsea enjoys exploring her new home state of Colorado and spending time with her husband, Kris, and chocolate lab, Red.
