Brittany M. Forrest joined the firm as a student extern in 2021. She works on family law cases and has grown to love helping people through some of the most difficult times in their lives.
Brittany obtained a B.A. in Philosophy at Texas Tech University in 2019. After graduating from Texas Tech University, she obtained her Juris Doctorate from Vermont Law School in 2022.
While in Law School, Brittany received two Academic Excellence Awards for the highest grade in contracts in 2019 and the highest grade in constitutional law in 2020. Brittany was also a member of the Accelerated JD Program, obtaining her J.D. in two years.
Brittany gained extensive research and writing skills during her semester as a full-time student clinician at the Environmental Advocacy Clinic. As a student clinician, Brittany assisted supervising attorneys with environmental litigation and drafted legal memoranda for pending cases. She finished her final semester of law school as a full-time student extern at Jorgensen, Brownell, and Pepin, P.C., where she has assisted her supervising attorney in a wide array of family law matters such as child support, parenting time restrictions, dissolution of marriage, adoption, and allocation of parental responsibilities cases. She anticipates obtaining her license to practice law in 2022 and plans to continue working in family law.
While Brittany is not working, she enjoys reading fiction novels and hiking with her fiancé and new puppy.
