John Konz joined the firm in 2017 as an associate attorney and focuses
his practice in the areas of Business and Real Estate transactions and
litigation, as well as Elder Law, including estate planning, probate,
guardianships, conservatorships, Medicaid, and Veterans Benefits. John
takes pride in being able to put himself in his clients’ shoes to
understand their needs while working meticulously and tirelessly to ensure
clients receive the outcomes they deserve.
Prior to joining the firm, John worked for a large firm in New York City
advising multinational entities in the International Tax practice. During
law school, John worked in commercial litigation and tax controversy firms
in New York, as well as spent his summers clerking at the Colorado Attorney
General’s Office, a highly-respected Colorado law firm, and the
trial division of the Office of Attorney Regulation at the Colorado Supreme
Court. Moreover, John is proud to have served as a senior editor on the
Hofstra Law Review and as a board member of the Hofstra Moot Court Board. John graduated
law school with Business Law Honors and received a citation for excellence
in Commercial Law. Perhaps most notably, John is proud to have first worked
as a paralegal at the firm for three years prior to attending law school
and returning as an associate.
Outside of practice, John relishes time in the mountains hiking, camping,
and skiing, playing golf, homebrewing, and spending quality time with
his wife, friends, and family.
