Kiana R. Douglas

Kiana joined Jorgensen, Brownell & Pepin, P.C. in 2023 as an associate attorney. She practices elder law, probate, and estate planning.

Kiana obtained a B.A. in creative writing from the University of Central Florida. She went on to graduate from the University of Florida Levin College of Law cum laude with a concentration in family law and a juris doctorate.

Prior to law school, Kiana worked as a legal intern for an insurance firm. While in law school, she gained substantial experience working as a research assistant for the head of a family law department and as a teaching assistant to the Director of Trial Practice. Kiana further acted as a legal intern and a summer associate. Additionally, she participated in two semester-long externships with the Department of Children and Families after they requested that she stay on. This prepared her for drafting, negotiating, researching, and interacting with clients experiencing some of the most emotionally complicated times in their lives.

In her free time, Kiana enjoys writing, vegan baking, pastel painting, and exploring Colorado.
